VCC THRIFT STORE
Recyle, Reuse, Reduce
You can find it all at the VCC Thrift Store
The Thrift Store is a subsidiary of the Vicenza Community Club, Inc. We rely on high quality donations from the Vicenza Military Community to drive the life-cycle of our operations. Donations come in, items are sold, and the revenue is then transferred to the VCC for community enrichment, partnerships, education and other programs.
THE VCC THRIFT STORE
We are located on Caserma Ederle right across the parking lot from the PX. Our hours are Tuesday-Thursday from 11:00am - 3:00pm.
VOLUNTEER WITH US
Our donation center is dependent on having enough staff and volunteers to run the store and donation center at the same time. We may periodically not open the donation center if we are low on staffing. You can help keep the donation open for the community by volunteering for one or more shifts a month.
VOLUNTEERING
We are always in need of hard working VCC member volunteers to help stock merchandise, organize our displays and prepare excess donations for the sales floor. This is a great place to get to know others and have a fun time while helping a worthy cause.
Volunteers will receive, sort, price and hang donated items. The more volunteers we train and have helping, the more Donation Center slots we can add. Thank you so much for considering how you can help keep the Thrift Store a wonderful benefit for the entire VMC.

DONATIONS
The Donation Center is now receiving donations on a regular basis depending on volunteer support. Otherwise we can accept donations by appointment. Check our Facebook page (VCCThriftStore) for notices when the Donation Center is open or message us via Facebook messenger or email thriftstore@vccitaly.org to make an appointment.
All items being dropped off for donation should be in good condition meaning: clean, free of pet hair, in working order and not missing parts. Please wash all clothing and wipe down plastic surfaces and toys. We reserve the right to refuse items we cannot sell or larger items for which we don’t have space. We cannot accept used car seats. Other Consumer Product Safety Commission guidelines are also used to determine unsafe or recalled items that we are prohibited from accepting.
Until the VCC’s application for IRS 501(c)3 status is approved, we cannot provide donation receipts.
MISSION
We will offer a high quality resale experience to benefit the Vicenza Military Community. In partnership with the community, we will build relationships with other private organizations and military supportive groups. We will be fiscally mindful of the resources made from the generous donations of the community and will strive to monetarily and socially support this place we call home.
"We cannot live only for ourselves. A thousand fibers connect us with our fellow men.”
