COMMUNITY GRANTS & IMPACT
COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT GRANTS
The Vicenza Community Club (VCC) is a volunteer organization dedicated to honoring those who have served our country, supporting education and social welfare, and encouraging cultural exchange.
Community Enrichment Grants are an important part of this mission. VCC supports:
-
Military Units
-
Family Readiness Groups (FRGs)
-
Local DOD schools,
-
Military-support organizations,
-
and other community groups working to make life better in the Vicenza Military Community.
BRIGHT EYES PROGRAM
The purpose of the Bright Eyes Program is to assist families of qualifying children (infant through grade twelve) in the Vicenza Military Community with their eyeglass purchase. After purchasing their eyeglasses, qualified families may be reimbursed up to $150.00 towards the cost of their glasses. Applicants are eligible for assistance towards one pair of eyeglasses per year.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Vicenza Community Club’s High School Senior Scholarships program was created to promote and reward outstanding VHS Seniors who exhibit exceptional scholastic achievement and community service involvement. Scholarship awards are intended to help pay for college tuition, room and board, and education-related expenses.
