WHO WE ARE

The Vicenza Community Club, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization approved for operation by USAG-Italy under Army Regulation 210-22. Our purpose is to enrich daily life on Caserma Ederle, Villagio and Del Din through service to others and community building. We empower our members through personal and professional development, educational and creative activities, as well as philanthropic, cultural, and social programming.

Since FY16, the VCC has given $300,000 to deserving programs in the Vicenza Military Community including $115,000 in educational scholarships to graduating high school seniors and continuing education students. These funds helped local schools, community organizations, and other military supportive programming in our area that directly serves soldiers and their families. We offer GED testing cost reimbursement and funds to cover the cost of eyeglasses for children to eligible individuals through our Bright Eyes Program.

The VCC also plans monthly philanthropy projects benefiting programs such as the Angel Tree, Mother’s Outreach Program, Red Cross, literacy and vet services. Other programs that we support include BOSS, local schools and the USO. We welcome suggestions of other worthwhile charities to receive our monthly Community Enrichment philanthropy donations and Community Partnerships.  We take pride in being able to contribute to both the base and local community with money generated from our Thrift Store and other approved fundraising events.

The VCC is an all-volunteer organization, relying on the time and talents of individuals committed to our mission.  There are many ongoing opportunities to serve on our board, help at the Thrift Store or participate in one of our working committees.
